OverviewLola’s is a 90s themed cafe committed to creating an inclusive space where people can connect, relax, and relive the era that defined a generation. The goal of this project was to create a new branding company system using the company profile provided by the client within two weeks. 

Deliverables:  Logo and visual identity, and style guide

Timeline: 2 weeks, including logo concept development, design iterations, feedback, and finalization


Brainstorming and ResearchThe 90s was the golden age of pop culture, which had a profound effect on graphic design trends. Textual elements included the use of clean lines, sans-serif fonts, gradients, and drop shadows. During the brainstorming process the goal was to incorporate elements from the 90s to highlight the quirkiness of the era.

The distinctive quirky look of the 90s was directly inspired by the Memphis Design Movement which influenced mainstream culture and inspired mass appeal for colorful, asymmetrical, and geometric shapes and patterns.

Final Logo The final logo design highlights the maximalist style of the era with the use of various geometric shapes while implementing a vibrant color palette.
